This large value channel retailer had not implemented any form of automation to manage vendor count changes or billing across 10,000 locations. We came in to help automate these processes.

We utilized SmartMap© to identify and capture actual locations and count of physical fixtures. After this step, we developed an ongoing quarterly audit process to manage fixture data capture and integrity. We also developed a reporting and billing process to automate monthly fair share billing to the appropriate vendor. The automated billing process allows transparent access by vendors to count photos, location, and information.

Results:
The annualized ongoing witnessed a $1.5 M increase in space allocation fees after the SmartMap© implementation.
